I saw your blog address in the TASL newsletter and thought I'd check it out. I am a librarian at Wilson Central High in Lebanon, TN. Ann Nored is the other librarian and we have been taking an online class on the Read/Write Web. One of our assignments was to set up a blog. Here is the link: bookwomen.edublogs.org . I will add you to our blog roll and we can hopefully exchange ideas. Good Luck.

Margaret,

I read about your blogging in the FootNotes newsletter and love it. You have stepped out ahead of me. I never think anyone cares about how I view the world. Congrats...

My coffee story is Starbucks. My husband is addicted to it. We bought an expresso machine from there, but he says it never tastes just right. So he stops every morning. I usually just get to go with him on the weekends. I just make coffee in the library here. Let me know if you get really good at it. I may come by for coffee sometime. My son will eventually be stationed at Ft. Campbell. He's in Officer Candidate School and won't be there until next spring (unless he's deployed first). But I'll be up visiting and maybe by that time you'll have quit the library game and opened your own coffee shop.

Margaret,
Very cool, indeed! It is very interesting that I learned about your blog just this week as I have had students showing some interest in developing a blog for students to discuss books they have read. Now I know where to get some help when I start working on it! Thanks for being so brave!

Margaret--
Way to go. I have been thinking about a blog but haven't taken the plunge yet. I would like to find some teachers to work with about setting up blogs or wikis as part of assignments.

Hi, Margaret -

I was just checking the TASL website and happened upon your new blog.

Interestingly, I've spent the morning developing my first blog in preparation for an advanced children's lit course at WKU. It is located here http://hilltopper08.wordpress.com/ Although mine isn't quite as sophisticated as yours, hopefully, it will evolve into something useful.

Love the latte bit! We all need our caffeine!

Kindest regards,
